My reason for my locs...

As a teen my mom was diagnosed with the condition Lupus. When diagnosed she was told she only had the type that would effect her skin. She then started getting spots all over body including her scalp. The spots on her scalp began to make her hair come out severely. The doctor told her no more chemicals. So to support her we both started our natural journey. She attempted to loc her hair and I did the same in support of her. Along her journey her hair began to shed to the point of no return which ended her loc journey. In honor of her I kept mine... all loc journeys have a purpose what's yours???
